Sound card adalah rangkaian elektronika komputer, yang berfungsi untuk masukan ( input ) ataupun keluaran ( output ) data audio ( digital / analog ).

Diantara connectornya :

1. line in     : berfungsi untuk masukan audio dari tape , mixer audio , dll.

2. Line out : digunakan sebagai keluaran audio dari komputer  ke  speaker aktif , amplifier sound system dll

3. Mic in      : diperlukan bila kita ingin input dari mic dimasukkan kekomputer.
